My experience at Sushihaus was quite mixed. Upon entering, we encountered a rather unpleasant situation with one waitress who completely ignored us. We took it upon ourselves to find a table, and when we did, she scolded us aggressively for not waiting. This initial encounter was surprising and left us bewildered.
However, our experience took a turn for the better when another waitress, whose name I can't recall but who had Italian origins, came to our table. She was the complete opposite – friendly, professional, and wearing a warm smile throughout. Her service was a stark contrast to the earlier encounter and helped improve our overall impression.
Now, onto the food: The Asian soup I ordered was truly outstanding and possibly the best I've ever had. It was a spectacular start to the meal. However, the vegetarian sushi was just okay, nothing extraordinary. The real disappointment came with the seafood sushi labeled as "crunchy," which had below-average quality. I wouldn't recommend it, either for the food quality or the inconsistent service we received from one of the waitresses.
In summary, Sushihaus provided a mixed dining experience. While the Asian soup was remarkable and one of the waitresses provided excellent service, the quality of the food, especially the seafood sushi, left much to be desired. The initial encounter with an unfriendly waitress also affected our overall impression of the restaurant.
New decor , everything turned black even the sushi bridges. We ordered the Maki bridge with soup and Spieße Lachshaut (Salmon deep fried skin) was crunchy and tastes good , Entenhaut(duck fried skin) very tasty and Hähnchenleber (chicken's liver). The Maki bridge has a nice sushi variety. All in all nice atmosphere and good suchi. However the service can be better.
The location is very good, at the Arnulfsplaz in Regensburg.
The service is nice and friendly.
The food taste is average (plus or minus.)
The place is kind of cozy.
They can improve several things though:
1- No wifi, and the network in the location is poor; so, you'll be without net.
2- Why do you need internet? To be able to understand the menu; it's a sushi menu, where names are only displayed without pictures. It was difficult for me to choose and decide.
3- The waiters are good and friendly; however, they struggle a bit to explain you about the ingredients.
I was very Happy with what I ordered, I like the Restaurant design “The fixed Broken plates with golds I think it was nice add and bring a lot of culture”,Most important Its Vegetarian friendly , one thing: it would be a nicer experience if It was less complicated to order,😉 …
Very good place. If you like sushi you should try it when in Regensburg
Exorbitant price, little familiarity with sushi, coarse and imprecise cut of the fish, but the worst part comes when you order the tempura, do you know the classic Japanese tempura? here forget it. The only positive note is the ramen.
Good sushi at what seemed to me like an excellent price. Very wide variety, too. Staff was friendly and some could speak English. Busy and a bit noisy on a Friday night, but not excessively so. Portions of the fish were quite large. I would definitely go back.
Great sushi restaurant, they are real Japanese, the food is of best quality while the prices are very fair. The atmosphere is very nice. The only "problem" is that it is very popular - so especially on the weekend, it's very crowded. So don't forget to make a reservation.
This is one of our favorite places for sushi! Love it!
My favorite place to stuff my face, temporarily exposing my gentlemanly, high-class character as nothing but a facade I've spent decades carefully honing.
